Fertilizer purchases are in full swing.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Ryumshin took part in video conference conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia on the provision of fertilizers to the regions.

“As of today, Crimean enterprises have purchased 4.5 thousand tons [of fertilizers], which is 34% of the demand. Ten producers of mineral fertilizers operate on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Providers of mineral fertilizers are ready to supply mineral fertilizers to farmers in full in accordance with requests,” commented Andrei Ryumshin.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea also mentioned that the total mineral fertilizer demand for autumn field work in 2019 is more than 13 thousand tons (in terms of 100% of nutrients), which is 9% more than in the same period in 2018.
