# Belaruskali will reduce the production by 30%

Repair will affect volumes.

By the end of this year, Belaruskali intends to reduce the production of potash fertilizers due to repairs in the coming months, said its General Director, Ivan Golovaty.

He clarified that today Belaruskali does not plan to increase its production, and 80% load will be enough to ensure stable operations. According to Golovaty, it would be rational to ensure maximum demand during sowing campaigns in individual regions.

The third Belaruskali mine department is undergoing repair work on the fourth shaft lifting machine and its technological sections. It is planned that a sequential suspension of two production lines of the fourth mining department will take place. Overhaul at the third mining department is scheduled for September, at the fourth – in October, and at the second mining department it is scheduled for late October – early November this year.
