Work began as planned.

Sowing winter crops started in the Krasnodar Krai. They plan to sow over 1.6 million hectares of agricultural land, the region’s governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.

“Our farmers have begun the sowing campaign for the next year’s harvest. More than 1.6 million hectares will be sown with winter crops, about 94% of them – wheat. Today it is our main export product and we are fully confident in its quality. First of all, because 100% of the area is sown with seeds of Kuban breeding, ”he said.

According to him, not a single region of Russia has such a powerful resource for winter crop varieties as the Krasnodar Krai.

“The seeds created by our scientists are adapted to any climatic conditions, therefore, regardless of the weather, farmers can get high and high-quality grain crops,” added Veniamin Kondratyev.

The farmers are provided with everything necessary – mineral fertilizers, fuel, equipment. Over 30 thousand units of agricultural machinery will enter the fields.
