# RZD has started an action against Usolskiy Potash

Publication Date: 04.10.2019, 00:14

The truth will be found in court.

A lawsuit against the Usolskiy Potash plant (part of EuroChem) has been filed in the Arbitration Court of the Perm Krai.

The claim was brought by the Russian Railways (RZhD), who want to recover 400,980 rubles ($6,130) from Usolskiy Potash. The reasons for Russian Railways to pursue litigation are not reported in the case file.

It is worth noting that this is not the first legal action taken this year against the Usolskiy Potash complex. For example, earlier it was sued by Siblitmash (Novosibirsk).

The Usolskiy Potash plant is developing the Belopashinsky plot of the Verkhnekamskoye deposit of potassium and magnesium salts. Last year, it produced 250 thousand tons of potassium chloride.
