# VRK-1 sues Metafrax

The journey is just beginning.

The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region is going to hold a hearing on the case brought by the Car Repair Company # 1 (VRK-1) against Metafrax (Gubakha, Perm Krai).

The reasons for VRK-1 filing the lawsuit and its amount are not reported in the case file.

It is worth pointing out that this is not the first suit to be filed against Metafrax. In September, a claim to recover 8,138 rubles ($125) from Metafrax was brought by Russian Railways in the Arbitration Court of the Perm Krai.

Metafrax is currently building an ammonia-urea-melamine complex – a project worth more than 950 million euros. The new facility will annually produce up to 575 thousand tons of urea, 308 thousand tons of ammonia and 40 thousand tons of melamine. The completion of the project is scheduled for 2021.
