# Fertilizer production in Russia is not going to fall

It's going up and up, up, up!

According to official data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), in January-September 2019, the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia increased by 4.3% to 18.183 million tons.

The production of nitrogen fertilizers grew by 4.7% to 8.441 million tons, that of phosphorus fertilizers – by 4% to 3.134 million tons, and of potash ones- by 3.9% to 6.608 million tons.

Ammonia production in the first nine months of 2019 rose by 3.7% to 13.6 million tons.
