Building a plant takes a lot of effort and resources.

Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilizers, Western Australia, has signed a cooperation agreement with Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation. Under this agreement, Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilizers will provide significant financial support to help the development of social initiatives for MAC, while the latter will help develop housing and logistics of cargo delivery for Perdaman.

Perdaman proposes to build a 2 million tonne-a-year urea plant in Australia at a cost of about US$ 4.5 billion (A$ 6.6 billion). It will take around three years to construct the plant, more than 2 thousand new jobs are going to be created.
