The countdown to the inauguration has begun.

The African giant Dangote Group has completed the first stage of the construction project of the Granulated Urea Fertiliser complex (Nigeria) worth $ 2.5 billion, with the urea production capacity of up to 3 million tons per year.

The company is currently carrying out commissioning work, which began in January. Its official opening is scheduled for May this year.

As part of the second stage, the Dangote Fertilizer plant is planned to be expanded to produce all types of mineral fertilizers, including, for example, lime-ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate.

Earlier, Dangote Fertilizer executives entered into a long-term natural gas supply agreement with Chevron Nigeria (part of Chevron) and the Nigerian Gas Company.
