The Government of Uzbekistan has adopted Resolution No. 120, relating to the activities of two enterprises that are part of the state company Uzkhimprom. According to the Resolution, 51% shares of the Ammophos-Maxam enterprise are transferred to the trust management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) for five years. 100% of the authorized capital of the Kyzylkum Phosphorite Complex is also contributed to its authorized capital. The Kyzylkum Phosphorite Complex is engaged in the production and enrichment of phosphorites, and Ammophos-Maxam outputs ammophos, superphosphate, monoammonium phosphate. AGMK produces copper and zinc, copper pipes.
