# Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers to increase the production of monoammonium phosphate

The costs will pay off quickly.

The Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers enterprise (part of Uralchem) continues to implement an investment project that provides for the installation and launch of a monoammonium phosphate production line with a capacity of up to 50 thousand tons per year. It will be placed in the Ammophos Shop # 1.

Works in the Shop are carried out around the clock by four contracting organizations. During the course of modernization, a mobile substation, tank equipment with mixing devices and pumps were purchased and installed, one of two vacuum-evaporation circuits involved in the production of monoammonium phosphate was mounted. In addition, the contractors reconstructed the drying drum, fitted up a new cooling tower, installed neutralization, filtration, cooling and fractional classification units, and are now working on “strapping” the vacuum-crystallization circuit, centrifuge and press filter.

The produced monoammonium phosphate will be delivered via conveyors to the bunker and then go to packaging in big bags and finally to shipment.

The enterprise began manufacturing monoammonium phosphate in 2012. It is used for the preparation of nutrient solutions in various irrigation systems on open and protected ground, as well as for foliar fertilization at various crop growth stages.

As a result of the implementation of the investment project, the production of monoammonium phosphate at the Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers will increase by 50 thousand tons.
