The Rost Group has acquired Agrotechnologii, a company implementing a project to build a greenhouse complex in the Leningrad Oblast. The facility will be designed to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and salads, with the production capacity of 7.1 thousand tons of products per year. The commissioning of the greenhouse complex with an acreage of 11 hectares is scheduled for next year. The Rost Group includes four operating greenhouse facilities in the Moscow, Tyumen, Rostov and Bryansk Regions, two more complexes are being built in the Tambov and Nizhny Novgorod regions. In 2019, the company produced 84 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables, and in 2021 it plans to reach 300 thousand tons.
