The project will increase the ammonium nitrate production.

Kemerovo Azot (part of SDS Azot) has been provided an affirmative opinion on the design documentation for the construction of two units for the production of non-concentrated nitric acid. The capacity of each of them will be 500 tons per day.

Compression buildings, towers, outdoor equipment sites, recycling water supply units, a transformer substation and distribution unit, an exhaust pipe, decks, racks and other facilities will be built on a 0.7 hectare allotted for the new facilities.

The new facilities will be built as part of the technical re-equipment, which will increase the production of ammonium nitrate by 227 thousand tons per year. The volume of investments is estimated at 6 billion rubles without value added tax (more than $ 82 million).
