# Winter crops fertilization completed in the Ulyanovsk region

Fieldworks are going as planned.

Spring works were discussed at the meeting of the headquarters for the integrated development of the area in the Ulyanovsk region. Department of Agriculture of the region reports that 18 districts have started spring sowing. Farms of the region have almost completed mineral fertilizing of winter crops and harrowing at the present time.

Harrowing has been already carried out in the area of 547,002 thousand hectares (89.1% of the plan). Farms in 13 districts have completed this type of work.

It was also reported that there are winter crops in good condition on 134.3 thousand hectares (43% of the cultivated area) and it is in satisfactory condition on 172.6 thousand hectares (55.3% of the cultivated area).
