Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers (part of Uralchem) comes to the completion of the investment project for the creation of the NPKS fertilizer production with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year. The works are carried out as part of the technical re-equipment of Ammophos workshop #1. At the same time, there is a creation of a water-soluble monoammonium phosphate production line with a capacity of up to 50 thousand tons per year continues in the workshop. According to the project concept, nitrogen-phosphorus, which forms during the production of monoammonium phosphate, will be processed and used to produce NPKS fertilizer. To implement the production scheme, Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers is completely modernizing and re-equipping the workshop. Several contracting organizations, together with the staff service of the enterprise, are operating in the workshop. The project is approaching the final stage. The workers have begun welding and fastening of the production equipment. Pre-commissioning activities and launch of the production line are scheduled for August-September 2020. “The most complex works already left behind,” said Ivan Kislyak, Chief Technology Officer of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers. “Despite the epidemiological situation in the country, I believe, we have successfully implemented a large scale and technically complex project in a relatively short time.
