Navoiyazot plant (Uzbekistan) is commissioning a new plant for the production of nitric acid. It’s designed capacity is 500 thousand tons of nitric acid per year.

The plant is currently only 80% loaded due to the limited volumes of ammonia supply and malfunctions in the operation of some units. The company promises to fix all these problems in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, the plant already uses its own nitric acid to produce ammonium nitrate.

Navoiyazot is commissioning a new plant for the production of nitric acid as one of the projects aimed to increase the company’s production volumes. Navoiyazot is also implementing the construction of the complex for the production of 660 thousand tons of ammonia and 580 thousand tons of carbamide per year.
