Publication Date: 06.08.2020, 10:00

The decision of the Antimonopoly Committee wasn't implemented.

Commercial Court of Kiev (Ukraine) has satisfied the claims of chemical enterprises belonging to the Ostchem group (forms the nitrogen business of Group DF) to invalidate the decision of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on Ostchem forced separation, which was adopted in September last year.

During the trial, it became possible to confute the arguments of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine that Ostchem occupied a dominant position in the country’s nitrogen fertilizer market in 2014-2017 and abused it.

If the decision of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine had come into force, Ostchem would have split within nine months.
