# Kemerovo Azot will install a new furnace

The unit is being actively built.

Kemerovo Azot (part of SDS Azot) has installed the final upper module of the reformer. The complexity of the installation works was in the dimension of the module as it weights 50 tons.

After the installation of the main elements of the unit at the site, the company will continue lining works inside the reformer, as well as the installation of apparatus and pipelines. The construction of the reformer is carried out within the framework of a project to increase the production of ammonium nitrate by 220 thousand tons per year.

Most of the equipment for the new production has already been delivered to the enterprise and is located in a temporary storage warehouse. According to the plan, construction and installation work at the facility should be completed by October 30, 2020.
