The growth has slowed down for some reasons.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, for eight months of this year, the production of ammonia increased by 1.4% to 13.1 million tons and the production of mineral fertilizers raised by 3.2% to 4.3 million tons.

In August 2020, the output of ammonia and gas industrial sulfur fell by 4.9% (to the level of the same month in 2019) and by 5.9%, respectively. Nevertheless, the production of mineral fertilizers managed to grow by 2.6%.
