# Farmers of the Nizhny Novgorod region will receive $53 million

Money is needed these days.

Since the beginning of 2020, the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region have received 3.1 billion rubles (approximately $39.1 million) as the state support, including 2.2 billion rubles (approx. $27.7 million) from the regional budget.

In total this year, the state will provide subsidies of 4.2 billion rubles (approx. $53 million) to agricultural organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported, state support funds will be used to purchase seeds, plant protection products and mineral fertilizers, renew agricultural machinery and equipment, and implement the land reclamation measures.
