# Uzbekistan exported more potash fertilizers to Indonesia

Publication Date: 02.10.2020, 14:00

The market configuration is constantly changing.

Uzbekistan is increasing the supply of potassium fertilizers to Indonesia. While by the end of 2019, Uzbekistan exported only 84 thousand tons of potassium fertilizers, then for the nine months of this year, 75 thousand tons have already been shipped. Taking into account the contracts already signed for 2020, by the end of the year, the export of potassium fertilizers from Uzbekistan to Indonesia will amount to 130 thousand tons.

Moreover, previously supplies were carried out through international trading companies, but in 2020 Uzbekistan signed direct contracts for the supply of additional 40 thousand tons with the five largest consumers in Indonesia.

Besides, this year, the Uzkhimprom company first time took part in a tender for the supply of potassium fertilizers for Pupuk Indonesia in 2020 (the company purchases about 750 thousand tons of these fertilizers per year).
