# Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant’s staff gets nanoagrochemicals training

Publication Date: 23.10.2020, 14:00

Professional development is in full swing.

Employees of Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) take training courses to obtain prolonged-release agrochemicals with nanostructured polymer coatings.

The new fertilizers are economically and environmentally feasible. This continuing professional education program has been developed by Vyatka State University following the trends and the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant’s request.

Technologists, engineers, and heads of the departments became the first students of the program. They’re studying the features of the nanostructure of polymers, development trends of the nano-agrochemicals market, production technologists, and the use of innovative brands in agriculture.

“Such an educational program is undoubtedly useful for our specialists. First of all, this program corresponds to the enterprise’s aspiration for the most efficient and environmentally friendly production,” said the Head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant’s production laboratory Andrey Shilyaev. “Secondly, it will help to improve our products’ quality and competitiveness, as well as to expand the range of products.”
