The deal is quite strange.

NPO Altair, the sole owner of which is a Russian businessman Roman Trotsenko, was pledged to VTB against a loan taken by a businessman for a six-year period.

NPO Altair, in turn, owns SDS Azot, which manages the Kemerovo Azot and the Angarsk Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant (Irkutsk region). NPO Altair also owns 50% of the registered capital of Promchimtorg which acquired the Meleuz Mineral Fertilizers (Bashkortostan) two years ago.
