# Nevinnomyssky Azot won the claim against Metafrax

The defendant will pay a fine.

The Commercial Court of the Perm region has completed the consideration of the case concerning the claim filed by Nevinnomyssky Azot (part of EuroChem) against Metafrax.

According to the case files, Nevinnomyssky Azot wanted to recover from Metafrax a fine of 1.759 million rubles (approximately $22.7 thousand). Based on the results of the proceedings, the Court decided to satisfy the claim and collect the full amount from Metafrax.

Nevinnomyssky Azot produces ammonia, nitrogen and complex fertilizers.

Metafrax is implementing a construction project of Ammonia-Carbamide-Melamine Complex worth more than 950 million euros (approximately $1.1 billion). The complex will annually produce up to 575 thousand tons of carbamide, 308 thousand tons of ammonia and 40 thousand tons of melamine. The company schedules to complete the project in 2021.
