# Hydrometallurgical plant is sued for water consumption

The amount of the claim exceeds $40 thousand.

Today, the Commercial Court of the Stavropol region will hold a hearing on the claim of Stavropolkraivodokanal (water service company of the Stavropol region) against the Hydrometallurgical plant (city of Lermontov).

As follows from the case files, Stavropolkraivodokanal intends to recover from the Hydrometallurgical plant the debt for the consumed drinking water of 3.104 million rubles (approximately $40 thousand). It’s not the first time that Stavropolkraivodokanal sues the Hydrometallurgical plant. Since the beginning of the year, the water service company filed four lawsuits against the plant.

The Hydrometallurgical plant produces monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, and potassium sulfate. The company is part of Almaz Group and has formed the Almaz Fertilizers plant, which (according to Rusprofile.ru) registered at the same address as the Hydrometallurgical plant.
