# Exports of ammonia from Russia collapsed

The market condition affected supplies.

As Federal Customs Service reports, during the January-September period of this year, the ammonia export from Russia fell by 6.5% to 3.173 million tons.

Export sales of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers increased by 0.9% to 10.630 million tons and by 8.2% to 6.864 million tons, respectively, while the sales of complex fertilizers decreased by 1.7% to 7.959 million tons.

In monetary terms, the export of ammonia fell by 22.6% to $853 million, nitrogen fertilizers by 12.4% to $1.890 billion, potassium fertilizers by 21.4% to $1.288 billion, and complex fertilizers by 19.6% to $1.993 billion.
