# Almost 3.4 million ha of unused land identified in the Far East

Inventory will fuel investment projects.

The Far East Agency for Attracting Investments and Export Support has carried out an inventory of 4.652 million hectares of agricultural land in six regions of the Far East.

The obtained information is supposed to be combined into a single database which will help in the formation of clusters from lands of different legal regimes, providing the possibility of implementing large agricultural projects.

In total, 3.389 million hectares of free and unused agricultural land were identified, including 621 thousand hectares in the Primorsky region, 476 thousand hectares in the Amur region, 1.063 million hectares in the Trans-Baikal region, 643 thousand hectares in Buryatia, 308 thousand hectares in the Jewish Autonomous Region, and 66 thousand hectares in the Khabarovsk region.
