It's necessary to increase the use of mineral fertilizers.

The First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Khatuov held a meeting of the operational headquarters, where the provision of farmers with material and technical resources for the sowing campaign was discussed.

As of today, the spring sowing was carried out on an area of 338.7 thousand hectares in the Southern, North Caucasian and Central Federal Districts.

According to Dzhambulat Khatuov’s statement, to increase the yield of the main crops, it’s necessary to expand the use of mineral fertilizers by 10-15% annually. As was noted at the meeting, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia had developed and sent to the regions plans to increase the purchase of mineral fertilizers until 2025 to scientifically grounded volumes.
