Publication Date: 27.04.2021, 16:00

The global trader will expand its influence in Canada

International agricultural trader Cargill plans to acquire the Precision Ag retail company operating in southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada.

Precision Ag will preserve its name and there will be no fundamental changes for its employees. The management of Precision Ag stays in office for the next three years.

“While thinking of the ways of our development, we decided that selling of our company to Cargill was the best solution,” said Jay Gerry, CEO of Precision Ag.

The purchase of Precision Ag will enable Cargill to expand its business in Canada, including supplies for the crop production needs.

Precision Ag provides farmers with mineral fertilizers, crop protection products and seeds.
