Ammonia is both fertilizer and fuel.

Dutch OCI company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MAN Energy Solutions and Hartmann Gas Carriers Germany, which provides for the chartering of ammonia sea vessels that they will build and operate. The ships will use ammonia as fuel.

OCI produces ammonia, granular carbamide, carbamide-ammoniac compound, and ammonium sulfate, supplying them all over the world.
