# Lukoil intends to fine the Metafrax plant

The case is in the excess idle time of the rail cars.

The Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez enterprise filed a claim to the Commercial Court of the Perm region against the Metafrax plant (the city of Gubakha).

According to the case files, Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez intends to recover from Metafrax a fine of 12 thousand rubles (approximately $165) for excess idle time of rail cars under the supply contract dated March 13, 2017.

Metafrax is implementing a project for the construction of the Ammonia-Urea-Melamine complex worth over €950 million (approximately $1.13 billion). The complex will annually produce up to 575 thousand tons of carbamide, 308 thousand tons of ammonia, and 40 thousand tons of melamine. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
