The American Stoller Group has acquired a stake in Cromai — one of the world’s five most promising startups in the field of IT solutions in agriculture. “Participation in Cromai’s activities is an important step towards offering digital services to farmers to help them manage their property more efficiently,” said Rodrigo Ferreira de Oliveira, Vice-President of Stoller Group. Stoller Group and Cromai have already conducted a series of experiments on the use of artificial intelligence in the fields. In 2022 they will offer their services to coffee producers, in 2023 to companies growing sugarcane, soybeans, cotton, and corn. “We are very excited about the new development phase of Cromai as we will expand our activities by digitizing agronomic management,” said Guilherme Barros Castro, Founder and CEO of Cromai.
