# Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers implements mobile warehouses project

Transportable warehouses are in good demand.

By the end of 2021, Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers (part of Uralchem) plans to create 30 container-type transportable warehouses for storage and prompt shipment of mineral fertilizers to consumers directly to the fields. For the convenience of agricultural producers, transportable warehouses equipped with special engineering systems will be installed near large agricultural enterprises or directly on their territories.

Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers launched this investment project in 2018 when the prototype of a transportable warehouse was created at the site of the enterprise. After the tests confirmed the reliability and efficiency of the developed product, it was decided to start serial production.

The transportable warehouse is a 20ft sea container with a modified design, equipped with modern engineering systems. The specialists of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers together with the employees of Urlachem Trading House monitor the loading of warehouses with the necessary fertilizers and their replenishment, depending on the consumption volume by agricultural enterprises. The capacity of one container is 18 tons. Fertilizers are placed on pallets in two tiers.

During the work of the transportable warehouses, the operator is monitoring and controlling the system performance and also collecting data. The responsibility for these operations lies on the personnel of the engineering and technical department of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers. Experts daily report the consumed amount of fertilizers, as well as their residues, to Uralchem Trading House, which form the basis for operational planning and replenishment of the transportable warehouses with fertilizers. Transportable warehouses have been currently installed and are successfully operating in agricultural enterprises of the Kursk, Belgorod, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Lipetsk regions.

This allows domestic agricultural producers to significantly save on transport, logistics, and other related costs. The project will help us to diversify fertilizer supplies to Uralchem, increase product marginality and expand our client base. Moreover, the created product can be classified as innovative with clear signs of compliance with the concept of the Internet of Things, which positively influences the authority and reputation of Uralchem ​​and its products. The demand of farmers for transportable warehouses is noticeably growing, therefore we are currently considering the issue of increasing the production of this product.”
