# PhosAgro-Region is expanding to the Ural region

An office was opened in the capital of the Sverdlovsk region.

The PhosAgro-Region company (part of PhosAgro) has opened a new regional office in the city of Yekaterinburg. It will directly interact with agricultural producers of the Ural Federal District, develop and implement systems of mineral plant nutrition for the Ural farms, and will also focus on the development of a regional logistics network.

“Along with the expansion of the PhosAgro-Region network as part of the PhosAgro development strategy until 2025 in our priority Russian market, we will continue to develop sales channels and improve the quality of services for farmers. We are confident that with the commissioning of the new regional office in Yekaterinburg, we will be able to increase the reliability of supplying the Ural agricultural producers with mineral fertilizers both by fulfilling advance orders for our products and by its prompt exchange sales,” noted PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev.

“We have been working with Ural farms for several years, and we can state that the Ural is a unique example of the rational use of natural resources for the development of agriculture in the zone of risky farming. Taking into account the agrarian specifics of the Ural’s regions and the weather activity of recent years, we intend to develop supplies of liquid complex fertilizers, which have already proven their effectiveness in drought conditions in the south of Russia. This year we demonstrated the effect of liquid complex fertilizers on varietal crops during the All-Russian Field Day, and I’m sure that farmers will see value in the result,” said Andrey Vovk, General Director of PhosAgro region. “Especially for the Ural’s regions, the agronomic service PhosAgro-Region has already developed a package of solutions to improve soil fertility.”

The new office in Yekaterinburg has become the 21st regional office of the PhosAgro-Region network.
