Publication Date: 30.08.2021, 20:00

The funds will be spent on pesticides and fertilizers.

The farmers of the Novosibirsk region will be provided with 150 million rubles (approximately $2 million) from the reserve fund of the region for the purchase of mineral fertilizers and plant protection products. The government of the Novosibirsk region decided to use a part of the federal subvention, which the region received to address priority social problems.

As the Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk region explained, the two existing directions of the program “Development of agriculture and control of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Novosibirsk region”, financed entirely from the regional budget, will soon receive additional funds of 150 million rubles (approx. $2 million) to reimburse part of the cost of the purchased mineral fertilizers and plant protection products.

The decision to support farmers was made by the government of the Novosibirsk region due to the rise in the cost of mineral fertilizers and plant protection products.
