It's planned to use solar energy.

In 2022, the Irish company Fusion Fuel Green intends to launch the Hevo Ammonia project in Morocco to produce green ammonia. Capital investments in the project will exceed $850 million, and Hevo Ammonia will be Morocco’s largest hydrogen and green ammonia project.

Fusion Fuel Green plans to begin the construction of the first stage of Hevo Ammonia in 2022 after its feasibility study is completed. Hevo Ammonia is expected to produce 183 thousand tons of green ammonia per year, which will be sold by international trader Vitol.

To supply Hevo Ammonia with hydrogen, Fusion Fuel Green plans to use an electrolysis cell with a solar module that efficiently captures solar energy.
