# Kalium Lakes has received the first batch of potassium sulfate

The project has entered an important stage.

Australian company Kalium Lakes has received the first batch of potassium sulfate during the implementation of the Beyondie project.

“We have come a long way to achieve this, and we thank everyone who contributed to the project, especially the shareholders, management team, and our employees,” said Rudolph van Niekerk, CEO of Kalium Lakes.

The Beyondie project provides for the evaporation and processing of brines to produce 150 thousand tons of potassium sulfate per year for the needs of agriculture in Australia and foreign countries. The launch of production is scheduled for October this year.
