Production growth is impossible without a reliable energy supply.

Australian company Harvest Minerals has begun the construction of a solar power plant which is needed to support mining under the Arapua project in Brazil.

The solar power plant will have a modular design and will reduce mining costs by 8%. Its capacity will be approximately 277 kW.

Arapua reserves over 13 million tons of raw materials with an average potassium oxide content of 3.1% and phosphorus pentoxide of 2.29%. The project provides for the production of the KPFertil complex fertilizer.

In the January-September period of 2021, its sales increased by 196% to 74.159 thousand tons. The company plans to reach sales of 80 thousand tons by the end of the year.
