Science can work wonders.

The US startup Pluton Biosciences attracted $6.61 million to expand the use of microbes in agriculture.

“This research will help Pluton Biosciences to show itself as an innovative force providing solutions to the climate and agricultural challenges of our time,” said the company founder Barry Goldman.

Founded in 2017, Pluton Biosciences is looking for and studying new microbes that affect environmental sustainability. The company is currently focused on using microbes to combat climate change and replace fertilizers with microbial drugs.

Pluton Biosciences is now collaborating with Bayer to develop an additive to the soil that will intensify the increase of microbes that can store nitrogen and carbon.
