Publication Date: 19.01.2022, 18:00

The agreements are valid until the end of May.

The Republic of Bashkortostan has signed a cooperation agreement with eight major Russian producers of mineral fertilizers. The agreements provide for uninterrupted supplies of mineral fertilizers for agricultural enterprises and farmers of the region until the end of May this year. As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan reports, the quota for the region is 192.7 thousand tons of fertilizers.

“To obtain stable yields of 25-27 centners per 1 hectare, we need to increase the application of mineral fertilizers up to 180.7 thousand tons,” said the Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “In 2020, the region’s farmers purchased and applied 71 thousand tons of fertilizers, in 2021 — 80.2 thousand tons. In 2022, we plan to reach 94.5 thousand tons.”

The agreements set the selling prices of mineral fertilizers to be not higher than the average prices of their producers (established in May-July 2021, excluding value-added tax, transportation costs, transshipment, storage and packaging costs).
