Farmers and agricultural enterprises of Crimea have begun sowing early spring crops for the 2022 harvest, said Alima Zaredinova, Acting Minister of Agriculture of Crimea. β€œThe sowing campaign of early cereals this year will take place on an area of ​​79 thousand hectares. The farmers have begun to sow spring wheat, barley, and coriander. Early spring crops have been sown on an area of 410 hectares. The first 2,640 hectares have been sown with coriander,” reported Alima Zaredinova. The Acting Minister also noted that Crimea has well prepared for the sowing campaign: there is no shortage of seeds and mineral fertilizers, and the equipment is ready for spring fieldwork. Earlier, 542 thousand hectares of winter crops were sown in Crimea for the 2022 harvest, and 100% of seedlings were obtained.
