Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree extending the ban on the export of ammonium nitrate until May 1 this year. This decision will not affect exports of ammonium nitrate to South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republic. Earlier, on February 1 this year, Russia restricted the supply of ammonium nitrate to the global market until April 1. Now the ban has been extended for one more month. “The extension of the ban on the export of this fertilizer will help to meet the needs of Russian farmers in full,” the government press-release says.
