# Acron owner Vyacheslav Kantor fell under the UK sanctions

The British government has taken a surprising decision.

The UK imposed sanctions against several Russian entrepreneurs due to the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine. Vyacheslav Kantor, the owner of the Acron Group, fell under these sanctions as well.

The government of the UK prohibited its citizens and companies to deal with assets belonging to a person under sanctions. The person is also restricted to enter or stay in the UK.

Acron Group is one of the leading producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia. Its product line includes ammonia, ammonium nitrate, carbamide, carbamide-ammoniac compound and NPK.

Earlier, the Fitch agency withdrew the credit rating of Acron Group.

Vyacheslav Kantor’s fortune is estimated at $4.2 billion (according to Forbes).
