# Uralkali looks for possible options to pay interest on Eurobonds

Publication Date: 18.04.2022, 16:00

Liquidity is sufficient.

On April 22, 2022, Uralkali intends to pay interest on Eurobonds, issued by the company in 2019 of $500 million at a rate of 4%. Their repayment should take place in 2024.

Due to significant uncertainty in the processing of cross-border payments, regulatory restrictions and delays that Russian companies have recently experienced in making payments on their bonds and loans, Uralkali is looking for alternative options for paying interest.

“Uralkali also confirms that there is sufficient liquidity to meet its payment obligations on time, including obligations for the payment of interest scheduled for April 22, 2022. The company intends to take all possible measures to process this payment as soon as possible,” the company’s press-release says.
