# Poland imposed sanctions against Acron

Russian chemical companies are getting surrounded.

The government of Poland imposed sanctions against Russian businessmen and companies. Among them are Acron Group and its owner Vyacheslav Kantor ([previously sanctions against him were imposed by the British authorities](https://www.fertilizerdaily.com/20220411-acron-owner-vyacheslav-kantor-fell-under-the-uk-sanctions/)).

Eurochem Poland (part of EuroChem) and its former owner [Andrey Melnichenko](https://www.fertilizerdaily.com/20220315-andrey-melnichenko-left-eurochem/) also fell under the Polish sanctions.

Among the individuals included in the list of sanctions is Oleg Deripaska. According to Rusprofile.ru, Oleg Deripaska is the director of the Sokolskoye-Agro enterprise, which grows grain crops.
