# PhosAgro and FAO have launched the Russian network of soil laboratories

The global initiative helps farmers in over 150 countries.

PhosAgro Deputy CEO for finance and international projects, Alexander Sharabaika, participated in the ceremonial launch of the Russian network of soil laboratories Rusolan as part of a joint project of PhosAgro and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Rusolan has become part of the global Grosolan network, which currently includes over 800 laboratories in more than 150 countries. PhosAgro has been a partner of the international program for the development of soil science and the improvement of the work of national soil laboratories since 2018.

We help farmers to improve their competencies in the field of sustainable farming,” — said Alexander Sharabaika. “The global network currently includes about 800 laboratories around the world. This is an impressive result. We believe that without an effective partnership between science and business, it’s impossible to ensure sustainable development and find a solution to global challenges.”
