The Canadian company Arianne Phosphate has signed a cooperation agreement with Northern Nutrients. As part of the cooperation, Arianne Phosphate will supply phosphorites from the Lac à Paul project to Northern Nutrients, which will use them to produce complex fertilizer. Its tests will be carried out this year on the fields of Canadian farmers. In February this year, Arianne Phosphate announced its intention to use phosphorites to produce alternative fertilizers that do not require the production of phosphoric acid as an intermediate product and the addition of ammonia (as is in the case of the production of monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate). The Lac a Paul project provides for the development of the apatite deposit of the same name.
