# Grain harvest in Russia can set a volume record

In 2022, the grain harvest in Russia may exceed the results achieved last year, said the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in 2020 the grain harvest amounted to 133.5 million tons, in 2021 it decreased to 121.4 million tons. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin forecasted that the grain harvest in 2022 may reach 130 million tons.

According to the statement of Dmitry Patrushev, this year, Russia will export 37 million tons of grain and plans to increase it to 50 million tons in the next year.
