Some of the employees are back to work.

The Lifosa plant (Lithuania) has restarted its production after a forced shutdown in April this year. 240 employees of the enterprise are back to work.

Earlier, the European Union authorities imposed sanctions against Andrey Melnichenko, the owner of EuroChem, which owns Lifosa. After that, the accounts of Lifosa were blocked and the plant was forced to stop.

Later, the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania allowed Lifosa to resume its operations under supervision. Lifosa produces phosphoric acid, diammonium phosphate and monoammonium phosphate.
