Publication Date: 08.06.2022, 16:00

It will train future specialists in agriculture.

PhosAgro has opened its educational center at the Voronezh State Agricultural University (VSAU). This is the sixth such educational center in the country. It’s aimed at conducting lectures and classes for students, as well as the implementation of the “school-university-enterprise” program, where future specialists will train their skills following the market’s demand in the field of modern technologies of the agro-industrial complex.

Viktor Logvinov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh region, attended the ceremony and noted in his speech that PhosAgro was a reliable partner of the Voronezh region, supplying local farmers with over 35% of the total mineral fertilizer need. The opening of an educational center at VSAU will strengthen the relationship between business and education, which will further ensure the country’s food security.

The educational center is a multifunctional classroom equipped with modern computers and multimedia facilities. Students get access to educational materials, visual aids and samples of fertilizers. Lectures and practice for students and advanced training courses for university teachers and farmers will be regularly held here. The lecturers will be Russian scientists, business representatives (including PhosAgro) and government officials.

“Over the past two years, VSAU has been actively cooperating with PhosAgro. Students and teachers of the university participate in the educational program “From Ore to Food” and get acquainted with advanced agricultural technologies, mineral nutrition systems for plants and tools for the digitalization of agriculture. This educational center will enable students to train their new abilities and competencies from practice,” said Alexander Agibalov, Acting Rector of VSAU.
