# Russia reduced the export of mineral fertilizers by only 7.2%

Deliveries abroad never stops.

During the first half of 2022, the export of mineral fertilizers from Russia amounted to about 17 million tons, having decreased by 7.2% compared to the same period last year, said the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov.

“This is primarily due to the shutdown of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, restrictions on the transshipment of Russian fertilizers through the ports of neighboring states, refusals of foreign buyers to pay for Russian products, and problems with making payments. Taking into account the ongoing work with the UN, we hope to maintain a stable supply of fertilizers at a level not lower than last year,” explained Denis Manturov.
